11. Sharing and privacy
Sharing a project
The owner of a project can invite other registered users in the Sharing section of the project page, by e-mail address. There are two roles:
| Role | What they can do |
|---|---|
| Viewer | view only (the editors open in “Read-only” mode) |
| Editor | can change everything except the project details, archiving and sharing |
- Revisions: the list, the comparison and printing an old state are available to every role; a new revision can also be issued by an editor; only the owner can restore.
- The invited user receives an e-mail; the permission can later be changed or revoked.
- The invited user sees the project on the Projects page under the Shared with me filter; the project page shows their own role, and they can also leave the project.
- The quotation is made with the owner's catalogue and settings; the custom symbols are also the owner's.
Profile and your data
On the Profile page:
- Company details (for quotations) and designer details (for the title block);
- change password;
- Download my data (ZIP): your account and company details, your projects, your floor plans (JSON) and underlays, your quotations (JSON and CSV), your own catalogue and your settings. The password is not included.
- Delete account: asks you to type your password and e-mail address. Before deletion, a fresh backup is made (if it fails, the account is not deleted); the data expire from the backups within 90 days at most. Shared projects also cease to exist for the users they were shared with.
With new terms of service or a new privacy notice, after login the acceptance page asks you to accept them again; until then the Profile is read-only, but data export and account deletion are available without acceptance.
Legal documents and privacy
The privacy notice, the terms of service, the cookies, the data processing agreement and the legal notice can be read without logging in. The program uses only the cookie strictly necessary for login; visit statistics are anonymous and store no IP address or browser identifier.
