Electrical design software for building installation plans
Avenler is browser-based electrical design software: from drawing the electrical floor plan, through the circuit diagram and distribution board design, to an itemised bill of quantities and a quotation. Schedules and a printable drawing set are produced from the drawing too, with nothing to install.
Common tasks
Creating an electrical plan step by step
The whole workflow, from setting up the project through the floor plan, the distribution board and the take-off to the printed plan.
Circuit diagram maker
An electrical floor plan with symbols, cables and circuits, plus a single-line diagram calculated from the distribution board.
Electrical floor plan maker
Draw walls, rooms and devices floor by floor, with an underlay, cable routes, printing and DXF export.
Electrical drawing symbols
The program's symbols by group, searchable: switches, socket-outlets, lighting, low-current systems, sensors and other devices.
Electrical bill of quantities
Device counts and cable lengths from the saved drawing, with connection reserve and allowance, plus schedules.
Electrical installation quotation maker
A quotation from the take-off: items from the catalogue, labour from standard labour time and hourly labour rate, VAT, a printable quotation.
Distribution board designer
Allocate module positions, the main switch, RCDs and MCBs from the circuits, with board checks and indicative sizing.
Single-line diagram
The board's main switch, RCDs and MCBs with the outgoing circuits, as a printable diagram.
What can Avenler do?
Floor plan editor
Draw walls, doors and windows, and rooms floor by floor; an existing plan can be loaded as an underlay from an image, PDF or DXF.
Symbols and symbol sets
Built-in symbols for switches, socket-outlets, luminaires, low-current and energy devices; custom symbols and a symbol set per country.
Cables and circuits
Cable routes, conductor marking and circuits on the floor plan, with cross-references to the devices.
Distribution boards and single-line diagram
Distribution board design with module positions, suggestions from the circuits, board checks, a single-line diagram and indicative sizing.
Checks
The Checks panel points out gaps in good time; the drawing rules and the board rules can be configured.
Take-off and quotation
An itemised bill of quantities from the drawing, a catalogue-based quotation and schedules.
Printing and DXF
Drawing printouts on A4/A3 with a standard title block, drawing sets, saving as PDF and DXF export for CAD programs.
Sharing
A project can be shared with another registered user in the viewer or editor role.
Sizing, checks and minimum counts are indicative only: they do not replace the professional responsibility of the electrical designer.
